Examples:

On June 7, 2016, lawmakers demanded answers on Orlando’s VA Medical Center’s cost overruns. Original price tag was $665 million, which ballooned to $878 million. But that cost, when added to other ongoing expenses accrued by the Orlando project actually pushed total cost overrun to $362 million. Congress not only wanted to know where the money went, but also about the problems and delays of the contractor.
Obamacare’s technical delays (at the national level) were costly from a financial perspective, user perspective, PR perspective and needs of management.
